James has a strong background in the international oil markets and Australian electricity market. Prior to establishing Arcadia Energy Trading in April 2007, James was General Manager Trading at Powerdirect / Ergon Energy Pty Ltd for 8 years. In this capacity, James was responsible for the risk management of 10TWh per annum of contestable commercial and industrial retail electricity load and a further 10 TWh per annum of residential load as well as the broader Ergon Energy trading, cogeneration and renewable energy portfolios. James joined Ergon Energy in 1999 having previously spent 12 years trading crude oil, petroleum products and oil derivatives for BP in London, New York and Singapore. Patrick has a background in a variety of commercial segments. After initially working for Westpac Banking Corporation in residential and commercial lending Patrick then spent 4 years in Foreign Exchange Broking in Switzerland. Prior to establishing Arcadia Energy Trading in April 2007, Patrick had been trading electricity derivatives for 8 years, for Powerdirect / Ergon Energy Pty Ltd where he ultimately became the Manager Arbitrage Trading. Patrick is an AFMA accredited individual, candidate number 3969.

Anthony has 16 years experience trading and managing physical and financial commodity risk having started in trading physical commodities such as meat, grains and cotton. Prior to establishing Arcadia Energy Trading in April 2007, Anthony had been trading electricity derivatives for 8 years, for Powerdirect / Ergon Energy Pty Ltd, as Manager Contestable Trading. With an intimate knowledge of the electricity markets and end user requirements Anthony has developed a diverse range of electricity products, and is an expert in risk and portfolio management. Anthony is an AFMA accredited individual, candidate number 11993.

Deirdre has an accounting background, having worked in funds management and accounting firms in Ireland for 3 years. Deirdre joined Powerdirect / Ergon Energy Pty Ltd in Australia, and in the past 3 years has fulfilled accounting and risk management roles in Powerdirect / Ergon Energy's middle and back offices. Deirdre is an AFMA accredited individual, candidate number 21422.

Glen has a total of 20 years experience in Risk Management and Finance within the financial markets. Glen spent 10 years with the Financial Markets department of the Commonwealth Bank in Sydney. Prior to joining Arcadia Energy Trading Glen had spent 7 years as part of the Energy Risk Management team within Powerdirect / Ergon Energy Pty Ltd, where he ultimately fulfilled the role of Energy Risk Manager. Glen is an AFMA accredited individual, candidate number 15303.
